Important Instructions Before Your Health Checkup

To ensure accurate results and a smooth checkup experience, please follow these guidelines before undergoing your health screening:

  • Get enough sleep – At least 6 hours of rest before your checkup is essential.
  • Fasting is required – Avoid food and drinks (except water) for 8 to 10 hours before tests like FBS, Lipid Profile, and Blood Sugar.
  • Stay hydrated – Drinking water is encouraged to prevent dehydration, especially for blood tests like FBC, ESR, and Uric Acid.
  • Avoid alcohol – Refrain from consuming alcohol for at least 24 hours before the checkup to prevent inaccurate readings in tests such as Liver Function (ALT/AST), Blood Urea, and SC.
  • Continue essential medications – If you are on hypertension medication, take it as per your doctor’s prescription.
  • Bring medical records – If you have chronic illnesses or previous medical conditions, please bring any relevant reports for accurate diagnosis, especially for ECG, Chest X-ray, US Abdomen, and 2B Echo.
  • Wear comfortable clothing – Loose-fitting clothes are recommended for ECG, Chest X-ray, and US Abdomen.
  • Avoid excessive physical activity – Refrain from strenuous exercise 24 hours before tests like ECG and Medical Examination.
  • PAP Test & PSA – Avoid sexual activity for at least 24 hours before the test.
  • Psychological Assessment – Ensure you are well-rested and stress-free for accurate evaluation.
  • Dental Screening & Basic Vision Checkup – Brush your teeth and bring your prescription glasses or contact lenses if applicable.
