Important Instructions Before Your Health Checkup

To ensure accurate results and a smooth checkup experience, please follow these guidelines before undergoing your health screening:

Get enough sleep – At least 6 hours of rest before your checkup is essential.
Fasting is required – Avoid food and drinks (except water) for at least 8 to 10 hours before tests like FBs, Lipid Profile, PPBS, and HBA1C.
Stay hydrated – Drinking water is encouraged to prevent dehydration, especially for blood tests like FBC, SE, SC, and Creatinine & eGFR.
Avoid alcohol and caffeine – Refrain from consuming alcohol or excessive caffeine for at least 24 hours before the checkup to ensure accurate results, particularly for Liver Function (ALT), Lipid Profile, and Urine Micro Albumin.
Continue essential medications – If you are on hypertension medication, take it as per your doctor’s prescription.
Urine test preparation – Drink plenty of water before UFR and Urine Micro Albumin to ensure a proper sample collection.
Wear comfortable clothing – Loose-fitting clothes are recommended for ECG and US Abdomen tests.
Avoid excessive physical activity – Refrain from strenuous exercise for 24 hours before tests like ECG, Creatinine & eGFR, and Medical Examination.
Bring medical records – If you have chronic illnesses or previous medical conditions, please bring any relevant reports for accurate diagnosis, especially for ECG, US Abdomen, and Medical Examination.
Urine Tests (UFR & Urine Micro Albumin) – Collect the first morning urine sample unless instructed otherwise.
US Abdomen – Drink plenty of water and avoid urinating before the scan for better imaging.
Basic Vision Check – If you wear glasses or contact lenses, bring them for the checkup.
Psychological Screening Test – Ensure you are well-rested and stress-free for accurate evaluation.
Diet Control Consultation – Prepare a record of your recent diet intake for better dietary advice.
Foot Screening – Wear easily removable footwear and ensure feet are clean for examination.
